Super Scrummy Kale Chips
Rainy Sunday's call for snacks.
I've always liked kale chips, but I made them plain. And I loved the ones you buy, but at close to $10 a pack, I would eat a bag in one sitting. Hardly economical. So I set about making the coating with cashews.
Super yummy kale chips while watching movies on a rainy afternoon
Ingredients 1 bunch of kale, leaves stripped and washed 1 cup of cashews 3 tablespoons macadamia oil 1 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 tablespoon nutritional yeast 1 tablespoon tomato paste
Make Me Up Blitz all the ingredients except the kale, in your blender or thermomix. Massage this paste into the leaves. Spread the leaves out in one layer on a baking tray and bake for 20-30min on 150degC until they are crisp.
