Caramel Cookie Dough Balls

Don't you hate it when you go to make bliss balls and there is no cacao?

Well I did, until I came up with this recipe.

Possibly the best bliss ball ever - maybe. Made better by the fact that the kids can help roll them too.

Caramel Cookie Dough Balls

Makes about 12

Ingredients

1/4 cup hemp seeds

1/4 cup chia seeds

1/2 cup almonds

1/2 cup cashews

1/2 cup brazil nuts

1/2 cup pitted dates

1/4 cup tahini

3 tablespoons of maca powder

3 tablespoons coconut oil

pinch of hymalaian salt

desicated coconut for rolling

Equipment Essentials

Food processor or thermomix

Make Me Up

In the bowl of your food processor, combine the hemp and chia seeds and blizt until they are a fine powder. Add the remaining ingredients, minus the coconut, and blitz until the mixture comes together in a ball. Be careful not to over process them as they will get oily,

Once done, wet your hands and divide up the mixture and roll the mixture into balls and coat in coconut.

They are best if you allow them to sit in the fridge for an hour or so to firm up.

***These are full of good fats from the nuts, seeds and coconut oil. The addition of tahini gives them a calcium boost, while the chia and hemp provide essential fatty acids and omega 3. Maca is great for hormone and mood balancing as well as containing vitamin E (great for skin health) and B vitamins (good for energy)***
